AARONS, Joseph arrived in
Australia per "Princess Royal" in 1823. His wife, Rachel, arrived per
"Mary", the same
year.
ABBERTON(ABBERGHAN), Thomas arrived per "Coromandel" in 1820. To
Port Macquarie in 1823 per "Lady
Nelson".
ABBOTT, Francis
ABDEY, Thomas. Tried at Old Bailey, 1820, age 18,
for stealing a handkerchief, value 3 shillings. He was sentenced to
transportation for life. Thomas left Australia on the barque "Ralph Bernal"
on 17th February, 1850, bound for San
Francisco.

ADAMS, George :
ADYVEN, Elizabeth arrived per "Mary Ann" in 1822. August 1824 she was
sentenced to the Female Factory for four
months. In May 1825 she
applied for permission to marry Job Smith at Parramatta.
AIKEN, Robert was born in 1785 in Antrim, Ireland. In 1818 he was sentenced
to transportation for life for stealing
heifers. He came to Australia per
"Martha" in 1818. His wife Ruth was transported on the "Janus" in 1820 -
sentenced to
transportation for 14 years. Ruth brought their daughter Eliza
with her. In 1822 Robert was Government Servant to
Captain Piper. He received his ticket of leave in 1822.
In June 1823 he was appointed Constable at Windsor - he
resigned this position in March 1824. His ticket
of leave was taken from him in 1826 for purchasing stolen wheat. In
1829,
while living at Patrick Plains, he applied for a new ticket of leave. Robert
died in 1836 at Patrick Plains.
ALDIS, James was sentenced to transportation for seven years, in Norwich,
for stealing fowls. (Parkhurst Boys)
ALLCOCK, Robert (aka Alcock) age 16, was sentenced to
seven years transportation in Salford, for larceny in 1846.
