He married (1) in 1811 in  Hobart, Tasmania,  Ann Garland Reading, born 1796 in Norfolk Island; died 1812 in s Hobart, daughter of Andrew Reading(Redding) and Ann Galland; (2) in 1813 in  Hobart , Sarah Free (Israel), born 1797 in Norfolk Island; died 1871 in  Kangaroo Point, Sorrell, Tasmania, daughter of Samuel Free (Convict - Salamander) and Elizabeth Smith (Cave) (Convict - Lady Juliana).

Notes for George Mundy

Convicted at Devonshire in 1802, of stealing liquor. Arrived in Hobart on the 'Calcutta'. Pardoned in 1813. Owned 50 acres in Hobart Town then moved to Clarence Plains.
