James was born in Worcestershire in 1754, Robert Bloodworth and Ann Baker. He arrived in NSW, as a convict, on the Charlotte. He married Jane Marks in circa 1782 in England.
James cohabited with Sarah Bellamy, who was born in 1770 at Worcestershire. She arrived as a convict on the Lady Penrhyn. Sarah was convicted at Worcester, in 1785, of stealing a purse containing money. She married Joseph Downey circa 1790. Their son Joseph was born on the voyage and died age 34 weeks.
James B B Bellamy 1790-1857, married Maria Lee in 1812 Sydney. Maria was born in 1796 on Norfolk Island and died 1895 Sydney. She was the daughter of James Lee, a Private in the Royal Marines, who arrived
on the Scarborough and Sarah Smith, a convict, who arrived on the Lady Juliana.

George Bellamy 1796 - married Maria Cox in 1826. Maria was the daughter of Francis Cox and Frances Morton. Francis arrived as a convict on the Brittania.
Ann Bellamy 1798 married Thomas Bray in 1819. Thomas was the son of John Bray, a Private in NSW Corps, who arrived on Neptune, along with his wife Mary Dwan (Downs).
The children's birth were registered as Bellamy but they were married as Bloodworth's.
