Descendants of Andrew Byrne

First Generation

1. Andrew Luke Byrne was born in 1774 in Wicklow Ireland. He died in 1863 in George St Haymarket.

Andrew was sentenced to life imprisonment, as an Irish rebel. Arrived on the Minerva in 1800.

Andrew married (1) Mary Lewin in 1812 in Sydney St Philips C of E. Mary was born in 1770. She died in 1815. She was buried in Old Sydney Burial Ground.

Andrew and Mary had the following children:

+	3	M	ii	Thomas Byrne
	4	M	iii	John Byrne was born in 1808. He died in 1884 in Paddington.

Andrew married (2) Maria Davis Best daughter of William Davis Best and Mary Goodman in 1816. Maria was born in 1799. She died in 1872 in 33 Holt St. Strawberry Hill. She was buried in Devonshire St Cath Cem.

They had the following children:

	6	M	v	William Andrew Byrne was born in 1819. He died in 1824.
	7	F	vi	Mary Byrne was born in 1821.
+	8	M	vii	Cavan Byrne
	9	F	viii	Elizabeth Byrne was born in 1826. She died in 1907 in Botany.
				Elizabeth cohabited with unknown Abbott.  Her death was listed as Abbott and  Byrne. Sons James, Andrew Luke and John.
	10	F	ix	Maria Byrne was born in 1829.
+	11	M	x	Andrew Luke Byrne
	12	F	xi	Ann Emilia Byrne was born in 1833. .
	13	M	xii	Henry Rupert Byrne was born in 1836.
	14	M	xiii	Terrence James Byrne.
	15	F	xiv	Unamed Byrne.
