Stephen E Tuckerman

Mr. Stephen Tuckerman, a very old identity of Mudgee, died very suddenly about half-past 8 o'clock on Tuesday morning. Deceased, who had a dairy farm at Lawson's Creek, near Mudgee, was driving in with milk to the Butter Factory, when he dropped out of his cart dead. Mr.Tuckerman has been a resident of Mudgee for about 40 years. He was 64 years of age, and leaves a young wife and two children to mourn their loss. At the inquest the jury found that the deceased died from sanguineous apoplexy. Mr. Tuckerman was well-known by all old hands in this district, where so many of his family still reside.
