312. Thomas Robert Randell

The death occurred at his residence, Market Street, Mudgee, yesterday morning of Thomas Robert Randall, aged 79 years, an old and respected resident of Mudgee and district. The deceased had been suffering for the past eight years, for the latter 13 months of which he had been confined to his bed. The late Mr. Randall was a native of Penrith and came to this district 48 years ago. In his younger days he took a very teen interest in politics, and all movements having for their object the welfare of town and district had his unswerving and loyal support. At different times he was alderman of both the Mudgee and Cudgegong Councils, and this morning, as a mark of respect, the Cudgegong Council flag was hoisted half-mast. During his term as an alderman he served the ratepayers loyally and well. He is survived by an aged widow, and the following sons and daughters: — James, Harold, Stanley (Mudgee), Mrs. Rapkins (wife of Rev. J. J. Rapkins, of Hinton), and Mrs. Merrin (Mudgee). He is also survived by two grandchildren, and (the following brothers and sisters: J. Randall (Mudgee), George [(North Ryde), Mrs. H. Gawthorne (Lawsons Creek, Mudgee) Mrs. Vile (Sydney), and Miss Emily {Randall (Sydney) . The funeral look place this morning, the remains being interred in the Church of England portion of the general cemetery. The Rev. Canon Dunstan officiated at the graveside, and Mr. U. C. Swords had charge of the funeral arrangements.

316. George Innes Randell

Mr. George Randell, one of the sturdy old pioneers of' Mudgee, where he resided for over 40 years, died at his residence, "The Oaks" North Ryde, on May 13, aged 80 years and nine months. Deceased who was a brother of the late Edwin and Thomas Randell, is survived by a widow and family of one son and six daughters.

317. Ann Nancy Randall

MUDGEE.-The deaths have occurred of two very old residents In the persons of Mrs. Ann Gawthorne and Mrs. Elizabeth Robertson, The late Mrs. Gawthorne, who was 70 years of age, was the wife of Mr. Benjamin Henry Gawthorne, and the first child born of white parents in the town of Mudgee. Deceased is survived by her husband, and a family of three sons and two daughters.

Benjamin Henry Gawthorne

MUDGEE, Monday.
The oldest native male resident of Mudgee, Mr. Benjamin Henry Gawthorne, died this morning at the age of 81 years, as the result of an accident. On Saturday morning he was driving down Church-street, when his vehicle collided with another going in the same direction. Mr. Gawthorne was thrown out, falling on his head, and suffered concussion.

1651. Cecil Henry Randell

Sydney. Friday.
A body which was found in the water near Manly on Wednesday has been identified as that of Cecil Randall, secretary of Sandermans Limited, wine merchants. Randall had been in bad health. He returned from a trip to America last Tuesday.
