MR. WILLIAM CLARK
The death occurred at his home, Magellan-street, Lismore, late yester day afternoon, of Mr. William Clark, at the age of 89 years. He was born at Millfleld, Hunter River, and worked for his father in a wheelwright's business there for some years. He was married at Millfleld at the age of 27, and then went to Blayney and carried on a saddler's business there for 10 years. He came to the Richmond dis trict, where he took up farming at Corndale, remaining on the land for 20 years. He retired 24 years ago and has lived in Lismore ever since. His wife predeceased him in 1927. He is survived by two daughters and one son, Mrs. T. Stewart (Lismore), Mrs. A. Andrews (Clayfield, Brisbane), and V J. Clark (Talofa).
