ANGEL v ANGEL.
Evidence was concluded in a suit, in which Albert Angel petitioned for a divorce from Ada Annie Emeline Angel (formerly Best), on the ground of desertion. The respondent, in her defence, raised counter-issues of desertion and cruelty. Mr. Loxton, K.C., and Mr. Breckenridge (instructed by Messrs. Garland, Seaborn, and Abbott, Sydney agents for Messrs. Heath and Mitchelmore, of Wagga) appeared for the petitioner; and Mr. Boyce and Mr. H. G. Edwards (instructed by Messrs. H. E. McIntosh and Parker) for the respondent.

Wedding. ANGEL—BEST.
A pretty wedding was solemnised on Tuesday, May 9th, in St. John's Church, the Rev. A. C. Mosley officiating. The parties to the union were Albert, eldest son of Rev. and Mrs. Samuel Angel, of Hillside, Al- bury-road, and Ada Annie Emeline, eldest daughter of Mrs. C. Best, of Thompson - street, Newtown, Wagga Wagga. The bride, who was given away by her uncle (Mr. F. Best), looked exceedingly well in cream tucked voile, with semi-train, and trimmed with silk torchon insertion and lace, and wore the customary headdress of orange blossoms and embroidered veil, and carried a large shower bouquet. The Misses May Best and Maggie Ocock, sister and cousin of the bride, acted as brides- maids, and wore cream veiling, prettily tucked, and large cream beaver hats, with cream ribbon rosettes, and carried baskets of pink roses and fern. Mr. Austin Donnelly was chosen as best man, and Master George Best as groomsman. The church was prettily decorated by the girl friends of the bride, notwithstanding the inclement weather. The ceremony over, the wedding party adjourned to the house of the bride's mother, where refreshments were partaken of and the usual toasts honored, the Rev. A. C. Mosley wishing the happy couple much happiness and prosperity. Mr. and Mrs. Angel left for Sydney by the evening mail, the travelling dress being navy blue, trimmed with velvet and cream front, large brown picture hat, relieved with orange.
