193. Charles Raymond Perram

Charge of murder
SYDNEY, Wednesday.
- Mr Thomas Thomson Slayin, 31. security officer, of Seven Hills, was charged in City Court to day with having murdered Mr Charles Raymond Perram, 29, steelfixer, of Seven Hills, on March 12. The police prosecutor Sergeant John Tully, said it was alleged that just after 10pm on March 12 several people were involved in a fight at a Seven Hills hotel. Mr Slavin had attended the scene and had apprehended certain people with his pistol held in his left hand. It is alleged that he struck a person with his left hand and the pistol discharged, causing the death of the deceased. Mr Dunn. SM, remanded Mr Slayin until April 17 on $1000 bail.
