Harriet Maria Cousins
Mrs Ettie Eather, wife of Mr R. V. Eather, of ''Henriendi,'' Baan Baa, died in a private hospital at North Sydney on Thursday night. The deceased lady was a native of Singleton, 41 years of age, and second daughter of the late Mr Walter Young Cousins, who resided for many years at '' Bebeah,'' on the Maitland-road. She was also a niece of Mr H. McFadden, of Cambridge-street. The deceased had been suffering from rheumatoid arthritis, and was admitted to the private hospital for treatment about six weeks ago. Pneumonia supervened last week. The late Mrs Eather was an accomplished lady, and was very popular with a large circle of friends, who will deeply deplore her death. She leaves five children, the eldest being 12 and the youngest three years of age. The re- mains were brought to Singleton last evening, and the interment takes place this morning at 10 o'clock in the Presbyterian cemetery at Glenridding.
