Demise. Another of the old connecting links with the past generation has passed away in the person of Mr. Wm. Golsby, who expired at the residence of his son, Mr. Edward Golsby, Rockley, on the 11th inst. If the deceased had lived to the 12th inst. he would have been 81 years old. He had been 6O years a resident of the Bathurst district. Mr. Golsby only buried his wife about nine weeks, and she was buried at Caloola on the 18th of March last. His remains were interred at Caloola on the 13th inst., and the number of people at his grave bore ample testimony to the respect in which deceased was held in the district. To add to the grief of the family the eldest son, Joseph, had a daughter die at Blayney on the same day as her grandfather was buried. May 14, 1889.
