ALCORN. — At the Windsor Hospital on May 5 1909, Anne Jane, the wife of Alfred Alcorn, of Tennyson. Aged, 51 years.

99. Ernest Edward Alcorn

MR. E. E. ALCORN.
Mr. Ernest Edward Alcorn, a former Mayor of Willoughby, died on Saturday. He had been In ill-health for some time. Mr. Alcorn served in the Great War with the artillery, and returned to Australia with the rank of captain. At the time he was engaged in the timber business. After the war he was connected with the War Service Homes Commission. The funeral took place yesterday to the Waverley Cemetery.

Isabella Rutherford Strachan

ALCORN. — March 24th, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. F. Davis, Newtown, Windsor, Isabella R., widow of the late John Alcorn, and dearly loved mother of Elizabeth Davis, aged 75 years.

Mrs. Isabella R. Alcorn, relict .of the late John Alcorn of Riverstone, . passed away last Friday, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. F. Davis, Newtown,; Windsor. Deceased had been ill about six months, and during the whole of; that time was tenderly , nursed by her daughter with whom she lived. She was in her 76th year, and in her day had been a hale and hearty woman and one who was greatly beloved by all who knew her, for her fine character and charitable deeds. The family of the deceased lady are: Mrs. F. Davis (Windsor), Mrs. A. -Martin (Free man's Reach), Mrs. Robert Toomey- (Riverstone), Mrs. Stanford, (New Zealand),; and William (Riverstone), John (North Sydney), Albert (Pitt Town) and Fred. (New Zealand). The funeral of the late Mrs. Alcorn took place at Riverstone, when the remains were laid to rest in the C.E. portion of the general cemetery. Rev. W. J. Roberts conducted tho burial service, Mr. J. W. Chandler ;was the undertaker, :and there was a very large concourse of people present.
