BRADBURY, William - 1760-1792 (lost in the bush). Convicted at the Old Bailey in 1782 of theft of a pocketbook and money. When William discovered his sentence was for life he decided he would rather perish than remain a convict.

BRADLEY, James - 1764-1838 Kissing Point. Convicted at the Old Bailey in 1785 of theft of a handkerchief. Married Sarah Barnes in 1792 at Parramatta. Children: James 1795, Lucy 1796, Sarah E 1799, Thomas 1803, John 1806, Job 1809, Rachel R 1811, Isabella 1813.

BROWN, Thomas - Died 1792 Parramatta. Convicted in 1783 at the Old Bailey for theft of a snuff box. Married Elizabeth Barber in 1788 at Port Jackson. Elizabeth arrived as a convict on the Prince of Wales. Child Thomas born 1788.

BRYANT, Thomas - B1763c. Convicted of Highway Robbery in 1784, at Maidstone, Kent. Married Ann Price in 1791 in Sydney.  Ann arrived as a convict on the Lady Juliana. Child Harriet (Bryan) born 1795.

BURN, Peter - 1755 - 1788 Port Jackson. Convicted in 1783 at the Old Bailey of theft. Killed by aboriginals.

BURNE, James - Convicted at the Old Bailey in 1783 of assault and steal. Died 1812 aged 50.

BUTLER, William - 1767-1837 Sydney. Convicted in 1784 at the Old Bailey of theft. Married Jane Forbes in 1791 at Parramatta. Jane arrived on the Lady Juliana as a convict. Children: Ann 1791 and William 1793. Married Elizabeth Higgins in 1815 in Sydney.  Settled at Parramatta.

CASTLE, James - Died 1803 Prospect. Convicted at the Old Bailey in 1784 of theft of a watch, handkerchief and shoes.

CLARK, John - Convicted at the Old Bailey in 1785 for theft of a watch.  Cohabited with Mary Lammerman on Norfolk Island. Mary arrived on the Lady Juliana as a convict.

CLARKE, William - 1764-1822 Hobart. Convicted at the Old Bailey in 1784 for theft of alcohol from an inn.  Married Sarah Cumberland in 1791 on Norfolk Island. Went to Tasmania after Sarah's death.

CLAYTON, George - 1764-1792. Convicted at the Old Bailey in 1784 for theft of clothing. Married Elizabeth Dudgeon in 1788 in Sydney. Elizabeth was convict who arrived on the Friendship. Left the colony.

CULLYHORN, John - Died 1807 Sydney.   Convicted at the Exeter, Devon in 1782 for break, enter and steal.  In 1788 John married Elizabeth Leonard who arrived as a convict on the Lady Penrhyn.  Elizabeth deserted John in 1805. 

CUNNINGHAM, Edward -  Convicted at Scarborough Old Bailey in 1784 of theft of silver jug. Cohabited with Catherine Harris.  Child Elizabeth born 1784.

DALEY, James - Executed by hanging in Sydney in 1788.   Convicted at the Old Bailey in 1784 of theft of a trunk of clothing.

NUNN, Robert - 1846 Richmond.  Convicted at the Old Bailey in 1784 of theft. Married Mary Carter on Norfolk Island in 1791.  Mary arrived on the Lady Juliana as a convict. Left Norfolk Island for Sydney. Mary remained on Norfolk Island.

NURSE, John - Convicted at the Old Bailey in 1784 of break, enter and steal. Left the colony, aged 18.

OWEN, John - 1769 -1826 Sydney Benevolent Asylum. Convicted at the Old Bailey in 1783 of theft. Cohabited with Mary Flanagan, who arrived as a convict on the Lady Juliana. Cohabited with Ann East. Children: Charlotte M 1791,

PAGET, Joseph - Convicted at Exeter in 1786 of felony. Cohabited with Jane Brooks who arrived as a convict on the Lady Juliana.

PEAT, Charles -  Convicted at the Old Bailey in 1784 of assault and steal on the King's Highway. Married Hannah Mullins in 1788 at Port Jackson. Hannah arrived as a convict on the Lady Penrhyn. Left the colony with his wife and son.  Children: Charles 1789, Nancy 1791, Mary 1792, George 1794, William 1799, Hannah 1799, Charles 1804

PEAULET, James - 1758-1820 Pitt Town. Convicted at the Old Bailey in 1784 of theft. Cohabited with Sarah Robinson. Married Elizabeth Williams in 1809.

PECK, Joshua - 1755-1825 Newcastle. Convicted at Exeter in 1786 of theft of clothing. Married Mary Frost in 1791 on Norfolk Island. Settled at Prospect but was convicted of stealing sheep, along with his son and they were sent to Newcastle.  Children: Elizabeth 1793, George 1794, Mary A 1796, Jane 1799, Thomas 1802, Joshua 1803.

REARDON, Bartholomew - 1724-1807 Norfolk Island. Convicted in 1783 at Winchester of theft of a trunk. Married Hannah Rowley on Norfolk Island.  Hannah arrived as a convict on the Lady Juliana.

ROWE, John - 1757-1810 Sydney.  Parents: William and Grace Hambly. Convicted in 1785 at Launceston, Cornwall of stealing two coats from a dwelling.  Married Isabella Manson in 1790 at Port Jackson. Isabella arrived as a convict on the Lady Juliana. Settled at Prospect. Children: John 1793, Joseph 1795, Sarah 1799,

ROWE, William - 1755 Cornwall - 1795 Sydney. Parents William and Grace Hambly.  Convicted at Launceston, Cornwall in 1785 of stealing a canvas bag.  Married Mary Hawkins in 1791 at Parramatta. William and his child were killed by aboriginals.

RUFFLER, John - 1759-1813 Windsor. Convicted at the Old Bailey in 1784 of stealing a horse. Cohabited with Catherine Edmonds. Settled at Mulgrave Place.

RUGLASS, John -  1764-1837 Hobart. Convicted at the Old Bailey in 1781 of assault and steal on the King's Highway.  Cohabited with Ann Fowles who arrived as a convict on the Lady Penrhyn. John was given 700 lashes for stabbing Ann, who continued in their relationship.

RUSE, James - 1759 Cornwall - 1837 Campbelltown. Parents: Richard and Elizabeth Curne.  Convicted at Bodmin, Cornwall in 1782 of burglary and theft.  Married Susannah Norcott in England in 1779. George was a farmer, aged 23 when he was convicted. He applied to Governor Phillip for a land grant so that he could 'farm'. He was allocated land at Rose Hill. Also held land at Hawkesbury and Windsor. Married Elizabeth Perry in 1790 at Parramatta. Elizabeth arrived as a convict on the Lady Juliana.  James Ruse carved parts of his own headstone which reads: "Sacred to the memory of James Ruse who departed this life September 5 in the year of Houre Lord 1837  Natef of Cornwell and arrived in this colony by the First Fleet aged 77. My mother reread thy tenderley With me she took much pain And when I arrived in this colony I sowed the first grains and now with my heavenly father I hope for ever to remain".  Children: Rebecca 1791, James 1793, Elizabeth 1794,

SELSHIRE, Samuel - 1764-1789 Port Jackson. Convicted at the Old Bailey in 1784 of assault and steal on the King's Highway with force of arms.

SEYMOUR, John - 1760-1808 Tasmania. Convicted at Sherbourne, Dorset in 1786 of unlawfully cut down a maiden ash tree. Married Ann Daly in 1792 at Parramatta. Ann arrived as a convict on the Prince of Wales.

SHEERS, James - 1746-1838 Bathurst. Convicted at the Old Bailey in 1784 of assault and steal on the King's Highway.  Married Mary Smith in 1788 at Sydney Cove. Mary arrived as a convict on the Lady Penrhyn.  Cohabited with Elizabeth Wishaw on Norfolk Island. Elizabeth arrived on the Lady Juliana as a convict. Married Mary Wilson, who arrived as a convict on the Prince of Wales.

TEAGUE, Cornelius - 1742-1820 Windsor. Convicted at Bodmin, Cornwall in 1785 of stealing ninety gallons of cider.

TURNER, John - Died 1798 Sydney. Convicted at York in 1784 of stealing a horse. John ws flogged and placed in leg irons for a year, for planning to attack and rob the aborignies.

WALBOURNE, James - Born in United States. Convicted at the Old Bailey in 1783 of theft of a handkerchief.  Married Sophia Lewis in 1788 at Port Jackson. Sophia arrived as a convict on the Lady Penrhyn. Went to Ceylon with one of his sons.

WALKER, John - Convicted at the Old Bailey in 1784 of stealing clothing. Cohabited with Hannah Wilson.

WALSH, William - Convicted in 1784 at the Old Bailey of theft.

WELCH, John - Convicted in 1784 at the Old Bailey of stealing a pair of sheets. Killed by aborigines in 1791.

WILLIAMS, Charles (aka Christopher Magee) - Died 1815 Windsor. Convicted at the Old Bailey in 184 of theft of two greatcoats and two waistcoats, from a suitcase.  Married Eleanor McCabe in 1788 at Port Jackson. Eleanor arrived as a convict on the Lady Penrhyn. Children: Mary Magee 1791, James Magee 1789. Eleanor and her son drowned. They were buried outside the family home (at Camellia)
