A general sadness passed over this: community when it became known that Mr. Arthur Woolaston had died in Tam worth. He was born here thirty-three years .ago, being . one of a family of seven sons. His father was the late Mr. Samuel J. Woolaston who resided, in Somerton for many years. His uncles are: Messrs. J. Woolaston and W. Wool- aston, of : Somerton, and G. T. Woolaston, of Keelendi. One of his brothers, Private Wilfred J. Woolaston, is with the Australian Army in Egypt. Before his illness he tried on several occasions to enlist, but was not considered medically fit. He was highly, esteemed for his kindly sympathetic nature, and uniformly courteous and: gentle manners For nearly four years he had lived in Queensland. His' death took place in the Tamworth District Hospital. He passed away , after a severe sickness, extending over two weeks, suffering from an acute form of heart trouble.
