After a long illness Mrs. Matilda Agnes Rutter passed away at her residence, Junction road, Summer Hill, on the 2nd inst. Deceased was born at Mittagong 76 years ago, and was one of a large family, and when 10 years of age came under the guidance of her aunt, the wife of John Donnelly, the well-known grazier and station owner. Some years later her marriage to Michael Austin Donnelly took place, but death claimed Michael Austin Donnelly nine years later. Mrs. Donnelly then left the station of Berambula, and resided in the town ship of Wagga. Deceased then married Louis Rutter, the son of the late Dr. Rutter, of Sydney. After their marriage she again took up station life, and built her home on Mount Austin Station, and about 20 years ago she came to live at Junction road, Summer Hill. She is survived by one son, Austin, of Roseville, and one daughter, Persia (Mrs. Roberts). Rev. Father Mulheren, of Lewisham, administered the Last Sacraments. A Requiem Mass was celebrated at St. Thomas's, Lewisham, by Father Mulheren, after which the funeral left for the Catholic Cemetery, Northern Suburbs. The funeral arrangements were carried out by Mrs. P. Kirby and Son, Ltd.— R.I.P.
